This collection contains information on Dudley D. Akin, Civil War veteran (Union) and an Elder in the Kentucky Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He transferred to the South Kansas Conference in 1880 and was one of the charter members of the Southwest Conference when it was founded.
