This collection contains material on George W. Akens, physician and Methodist minister, who for nearly 40 years made his home in Stafford, Kansas.

This collection contains documents pertaining to Rev. Leroy Allen, who was received in 1923 into the M. E. Church (Southwest Conference) from his previous ministry in the United Presbyterian Church. He later transferred to the Central Kansas Conference. Rev. Allen served on the faculty of Southwestern College, Winfield, Kansas, and also served as Dean of the College of Liberal Arts there.

This collection contains a document pertaining to R. A. Anderson, who served as a local preacher in the Southwest Kansas conference and Kansas West conference. The file card from the Kansas West conference indicates that he transferred to Oklahoma in 1933.  Records indicate that he moved to Missouri in the 1940s.
