Beginning in 1984, Crossfire, the Kansas West Conference’s monthly newspaper, was no longer published locally. Instead, the national publication United Methodist Review published a version of their biweekly newspaper that included news from the Kansas West Conference. This continued until the conference resumed publication of their newspaper in October 1998 and renamed it Connection.
