Biographical or Historical Information
Robinson Methodist Episcopal Church, later Robinson Methodist Church, was founded in 1872. Robinson United Brethren Church, later Robinson Evangelical United Brethren Church, was founded in 1879.
A united church was formed by the merger of the two churches in 1967, prior to the merger of their two denominations. After the merger of the denominations, it became Robinson United Methodist Church.
The church conference voted on March 31, 2019 to close the church. It was declared closed by the Annual Conference as of July 30, 2019. The property was sold in 2020.
