Biographical / Historical

The Chautauqua Hills Parish established on April 22nd, 1979 and served nine churches. The churches underneath the Chautauqua Hills Parish were Cedar Vale UMC, Elgin UMC, Elk Falls UMC, Grenola UMC, Longton UMC, Moline UMC, Peru UMC, Sedan UMC, and Wauneta UMC. The churches entered an initial 3-year agreement on June 1, 1979, and all churches approved renewal past that time. Last appearance in the conference journals is the year 2000.
