The holdings of The Methodist Advance in the Kansas United Methodist Archives are, unfortunately, incomplete. Currently, we have the following issues: February, March, May, July-December 1949; February-June, September, October 1950; March 1951; March, June, August-October, December 1952; January, March-May, July-September, November 1953; February and April-December 1955; February, April-December 1956; June 1960; June, September 1961; May 1962; July-October 1966; January-May 1967; and March, May, and July/August of 1968.

Abstract
The Methodist Advance was a monthly news publication of the Central Kansas Conference. It began as a publication of the conference's Board of Education and was later published by the Interboard Council. It began in 1943 and ceased in 1968.
