Biographical or Historical Information
Louis Alderton was born April 2, 1913, in Eureka, Kansas. After graduating from the College of Emporia (Emporia, Kansas), he attended McCormick Seminary, a Presbyterian school of theology in Chicago. He also did graduate work at Indiana State University.
Rev. Alderton was appointed to the Cedar Vale-Wauneta Methodist church in the Parsons district. The collection on the Cedar Vale UMC Church shows him as their pastor in 1974 and 1975.
There is no information available on the name of his spouse, but children for Rev. Alderton are listed as Raymond Kent (born March 3, 1942), Louis Scott (born June 28 1944), Victoria Ann (born May 8, 1947), and Mellissa Lisle (born December 12, 1953).
