Folder 1. Biographical index sheet listing Don Aitken as a supply pastor in "LaFountain (1951)" (probably referring to Lafontaine, Wilson County, Kansas).

Dates

  • Record Keeping: 1951

Biographical or Historical Information

Don Aitken was a supply pastor; according to the limited information available, he served the Lafontaine MEC church (spelled "LaFountain" on the Winfield archives' records) in Wilson County, Kansas, in 1951. There is no other specific information available on him, but there is one additional line in his file that reads, "Dana Rader, Dec. 30, 1951." It is possible this is referring to a marriage or the birth of a child.

EDIT: A Donald Max Aitken, born in 1922, lived near LaFontaine in Fredonia, Kansas. According to the Find a Grave website, he passed away in 2006. Age and geographic proximity suggest that this is the same Don Aitken.
