Biographical or Historical Information
Robert Grant Anderson was born in Missouri in 1891. He transferred to the Kansas Conference of the Methodist Episopal Church in 1919; that same year, he married Evelyn Hunt in Baldwin City, Kansas. He received degrees from Boston University School of Theology and Northwestern University.
Anderson served at the Almena, Smith Center, Frankfort, Cottonwood Falls, Oswego, Hamilton, Waterville, Yates Center, Troy, Quidaro, and Topeka Oakland and East churches. He also was a state representative for Labette County and chaplain at the Kansas House of Representatives. He passed away on October 25, 1971.
