Biographical or Historical Information
According to her student record, Estelle Bateman Andrews attended the "Chicago Tr. S." (probably Chicago Training School for Home and Foreign Missions) in 1909-1910. Later, she was associated with the Kansas Conference, but it is not known what her membership status was. She appears to have taken some classes in the Kansas Conference's local preachers' course in 1927.
Her records have a notation of "La Cygne" with no date, but it is not known if this is a reference to an appointment, or if it the location of her birth, her education, or some other life event.
There is a "Rev. Estelle Andrews" mentioned several times n the Iola Daily Register in the 1920s and 1930s, usually in connection with the town of LaHarpe (which was at that time in the same conference district as La Cygne). This Rev. Estelle Andrews is referred to as an officer in the Allen County W. C. T. U. and is also involved in the King's Herald missionary society. In 1929 she is also mentioned in connection with a husband, Rev. G. T. Andrews, who is serving at the LaHarpe M. E. Church until 1930.
However, it is not known if this is the same Estelle Andrews.
