Michael Joseph Angell was born December 4, 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas.
He was educated at Donnelly College and was appointed to the Admire-Allen-Miller charge (Emporia-Manhattan district) in 1981.
He married Joyce Ann Saunders; their children were Jacob Michael (b. 1972), Matthew Joseph (b. 1974), and Sarah Kay (b. 1977).
A penciled note on his personnel record indicates that he had no appointment in 1985.
