Chad Barry Anglemyer was born on October 28, 1962, in Winfield, Kansas, the son of Burl George and Sharon Kay (Wood) Anglemyer. He attended Wellington (KS) Senior High School (1978-1980) and Dodge City (KS) Senior High (1980-1981). After receiving his B.A. from Southwestern in 1985, he attended the Iliff School of Theology, receiving his M. Div. in 1988. Rev. Anglemyer became a provisional member in the Kansas West Conference in 1988 and a full member in 1990. He served as pastor for the Arnold and Utica churches in 1989 and in Hays in 1992, as well as First UMC and St. Luke UMC in Omaha, Nebraska. He was appointed District Director of Evangelism in the Hays District in 1989 and also served on the General Council on Finance and Administration (1992-1996). He served as executive director of Together Inc., a nonprofit organization that assists the homeless in the Omaha area, and he also served as director of connectional ministries in the former Nebraska Conference. In 2017 Rev. Anglemyer was appointed the Missouri River/Elkhorn Valley Districts Superintendent. He married Susan Jo (Peugh) Anglemyer (born November 23, 1962) on July 20, 1985, in Dodge City, Kansas. Their children are Britt McKinzie (born 1988) and Taylor Chad (born 1989).
